My name is Yingli Chen. Being a foreigner in the UK for more than 5 years: from 3 years further education to 2 years full-time work, encountering different people around the world has enlightened me in all sorts of ways. 12 years practical services in international education sector including 6 years voluntary work and 6 years full- time work as a teacher and education supervisor. My greatest achievement is to see students who want to study English achieve their goals, because they start to experience how wonderful the world is by using its language.

My name is Jieying Mai. I majored in English and learned about pedagogical methodology in Shantou University. I think education is an important method to help children to develop a good character, guiding them to  think for themselves and giving them a positive attitude. This is why I choose to be a teacher for kids. I have made a academic visit to Hongkong, which enlightened me with an advanced and global perspective.  I love kids. They are so true and sincere that they enjoy their fulfillment even though they make a  little progress. I love seeing their smiling faces because they stand for the true happiness. So I hope I can bring kids fun and knowledge at the same time.

My name is Benjamin Sodoski, but you may call me Ben. I am 26 years old and a native of America. I will admit that teaching was not my first choice in life. It took me years into my bachelors to finally realize that I was not truly happy with the path I was heading down. So, I took a break from it all and lived abroad to really see how others lived and to find out who I really was. What I learned about myself and about life in general is that if you really want to make a change you must start with yourself. I have taken the time I have needed and now I would like to give back and what better way than to help the youth of China. I hope to bring a positive and influential energy for both students and staff.
